They were all real. Her mother convinced her to remove them, but she still has some, as you can see by the photos. She was apparently going through some sort of personal struggle when she got them, so I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't need much convincing. Probably regretted them once her mind was cleared. The designs were... yeah...
