On October 15, 2023, he announced through an Instagram post that he will be enlisting in the military in December

Unfortunately it will be awhile before we have Zelo back!

이번에 12월 군 입대를 앞두고 앨범을 내게 되었네요.! 사실 더 좋은 퀄리티에 뮤직비디오와 프로모션으로 제가 생각해왔던 그림을 구현하기 위해서는 이젠 과감한 선택이 필요하겠다 싶어 군대를 갔다 와서 앨범을 낼까 고민을 한참 했는데요…

팬분들에게 미안하기도 하고,

제가 좋아하는 건 또 해야 하는 고집이 있다 보니 이렇게 앨범을 내게 되었네요 벌써부터 더 나은 앨범을 위한 고민이 되는데... 항상 하면서 느끼는 게 인디펜던트로 음악을 하기엔 감각적으로만 다가가는 데에 있어 한계를 느끼고 늘 부족함을 느낍니다.

그럼에도 늘 제가 발전할 수 있게 옆에서 서포트 해주시는 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사드리며,

이번 앨범 다들 들어보시고 자유롭게 코멘트 달아주시면 감사하겠습니다. 그리고 음악을 하시는 분이라면 피드백 받고 더 업그레이드된 모습 보여드릴 테니 많은 관심 부탁드립니다🙏🏻

12월 2일 날에는 위 곡 ‘홀려’가 포함된 EP 앨범을 발매할 예정입니다.

This time, I decided to release an album ahead of my military enlistment in December! In fact, I thought for a long time about releasing an album after serving in the military because I felt that I needed to make a bold choice in order to realize the picture I had envisioned through better quality music videos and promotions...

I feel sorry for the fans,

Because I have a stubbornness to do what I like, I decided to release an album like this. I'm already thinking about making a better album... What I always feel is that there are limits to approaching music only sensuously when making music as an independent. I feel inadequate.

Nevertheless, I am sincerely grateful to everyone who always supports me so that I can develop.

I would appreciate it if everyone would listen to this album and leave comments freely. And if you are into music, we will receive feedback and show you a more upgraded version, so please give us a lot of interest🙏🏻

On December 2nd, we plan to release an EP album that includes the song ‘Bewitched’.
