Why does this forum takes up so much data?

I feel like this forum eats up more data compared to other social media sites. This forum is just mostly text but it consumes data as much as youtube.

The reason why i know about this is because i sometimes use limited data for my net. And scrolling through this forum for about 2-3 minute, would aready eat up around 400 mb of my data.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm, could be. But i only open a few pages, and it already consumes too much. Unless it automatically downloads all of it even when you are still at the homepage.
