By that time, it would be ten years since they've been looking for the next BTS. :meme-gretchen-ugh:

  • With the treatment they gave to BTS, they want another BTS?

    Fat chance.

Since the Koreans chose Lim Youngwoong and IU, let them have more and more of these internationally useless figures.

  • There is no next BTS. All these years, BTS rise to fame has been studied, analyzed and talked about by academicians and academic institutions such as Harvard University, McGill University in Canada, UCLA , Penn State University and others. They want to know how an unknown group from a small agency grew so big and became famous globally. Media and news outlets like CBC, CNBC, were talking about them as they go from world recognition to world domination. :borahae::borahae::borahae:

Many try to copy their footsteps but all have failed. Many tried to walk the same path they walked but all they got was a blister. They can never be replicated.

The Korean government destroyed BTS by refusing to grant an exemption.

Who will volunteer? I doubt it

  • not me agreeing with WhyKnock:skull:

funny how they could just start treating bts better, but they are too obessed with "finding the next bts". Good luck to them, Bang has been trying for longer & hybe hasn't even come close to recreating bts' relevancy. Also, with bts returning soon, the difference in impact will only increase.

With BTS' impact, I doubt the idols will stay long enough to serve.

I can see Christopher Bang and Felix Lee leaving Korea after their contracts run out.

  • I don’t think they understand that part of the appeal of BTS in the west( which I’m assuming is what they are aiming for) is that they weren’t supported by big companies or the government. A big saying in wrestling I’ve seen online from the most popular good guy character is undesirable to undeniable and that sums up a lot of what we root for and get emotionally attached to.

BTS were underdogs that proved they were the best which increased their appeal to the west. You can’t get that if you have the government or big companies pushing the group you want to replicate them.

  • How do they even plan to do that lol

Looking for "capable" small/medium sized company to support - so if they arent "capable", they arent gonna support them? What if they are indeed "capable", do they even WANT the government assistance to justify the risk they're gonna take to be under government, like using them for propaganda or used as scapegoat in the future.. This proposal is pretty stupid
