I misunderstood the title of the thread as you saying that the music video is sweet.

I like the choreo. It showcases their skills much more than the regular footwork which their choreos heavily rely on. The song is kinda average though.

that only works when you're a fan tbh. I like katrina and I've re-watched this song but it's just so bad in all aspects that I can't even get used to it. the outfit doesn't look that horrible because she's got the body for it but the hairstyle, makeup and song in general is bad.

I do agree that in terms of kpop the mv and song aren't anything special. These days you have to spend so much money on an MV and song to make viewers interested. I think that's why aespa does so well, it's because they have the whole package.

The simple route won't work for kpop fans because all they want to see is extravagant MVs and loud hard hitting songs (aespa's whole concept).

It doesn't mean How sweet isn't good, it just isn't amazing. It's not going to stay on the charts because it's not interesting and the melody is mediocre.

I always liked their music, but not so much their MV even though some were cute. Their strongest point is the music and their cuteness, their MV doesn't seem to be a priority to bring million of views or to create a buzz.

I've not liked most of NJ's music (I've also really liked some of them as well) but there's no need to add colourful language to something that obviously doesn't connect with you...

a simple not my preference or cup of tea is sufficient my friend
