if people care about charts why is them being interested in Korean problematic?
We are going to denying now the obsession of kpop fans for charts? I dont mind if they mention kcharts once in a while, but is all the god damn time. Thats what bothers me. And like i say, is not even than important in the big picture, the top groups are huge thanks to the global market. Is nonsense
Oh, then i dont know about that. Where i come from, most males that are into kpop are gays. In South-America, Kpop is seen like something for girls and gay people. Sure there are straight kpop fans, but is a minority.
I don't want to speak for every male here, obviously, but I think many of the more prominent male posters on AKP are straight, or straight leaning.

I don't see why people who care about charts wouldn't care about korean charts as well? They check charts because they want their faves to do well both domestically and globally. It's not the end of the world if they do well only on one market or flop on both, they can always improve. But i don't see anything problematic in being interested in both charts.
