I saw few tokki and other kpop fans saying this and I agree with them.
Groups like Nmixx and Baemon had a rough start so their fans are really dedicated to them. This gives them a strong fanbase.
Ive and Lsf have members who were already popular when they debuted, so they have loyal fans from the beginning.
Gidle and Aespa have proving themselves over time. Gidle faced a big controversy but managed to bounce back. Aespa had a long break and their comeback wasn't well-received, but it didn't effect them.
Itzy still does well in term of sales and touring because their core fanbase is strong even if the casual have moved on.
For Newjeans, many of their fans are multifans and casual that are not loyal. Their engagement on social media is weak, even though they have a large number of followers. It's unusual to see them trending with more than 30k tweets on Twitter. Additionally, their fanbase struggle in voting too. No individuality and really well known popular members too so Korean forum didn't really talk about the members outside of some controversy. Well, Mhj is just a human being so her plans is not that flawless even how hard she trying to manage this group right.
