I’m not from Korea, but I feel like we tend to overestimate how popular lots of these groups are with the general public. In America we have stars that everyone knows, but that doesn’t mean the gp are fans of them… they just have popular music. Like dua lipa, lil nasx, doja have great success with charting/gp but if you ask a random person from the states 9 times out of 10 they could care less.
Why not consider conducting a survey among your customers to collect data instead of assuming everyone has the same taste in music based on charts? Having traveled back and forth to Korea this year, I've noticed that the most popular songs everywhere are Newjeans, Ive, and Lsf. So, yeah these three groups are popular on charts and their songs are well known by gp. But apparently, it didn't work for your store so obviously charts is not the problems here.
Why not play IU's songs and other popular older K-pop songs? A significant portion of Koreans likely love her, and they probably know those hit songs well.
