I think you're new to this topic but they weren't really promoting as idols, even though their marriage was pretty much televized and actually made Yulhee more popular than Laboum. In fact Yulhee left Laboum shortly before the engagement and everyone a the time speculated that she was pregnant, which came out to be true.

They got married too young because they got pregnant.

3 kids in 5 years, and he did his military service during that time I believe.

Single mother as having children out of wedlock, yes.

While Divorce still get looked down upon, it is much common now in days, so is not as taboo as it used to be.

They even have TV shows about divorced people dating.

Also she wanted to have more children but he didn’t. She pressured him to have more children even tho he got a vasectomy by himself, and she still insisted to him to reverse it even though it was painful for him and he was clear that he didn’t want more children. She just stayed at home without working and he had the full financial pressure and responsibility of 3 children and a child-wife.

The Divorce fight has some drama.
