Seriously, how are both Hype Boy and Ditto so good?

Every time these songs pop up on my kpop playlists, I can't stop myself from thinking the words "pop perfection".

Both of these songs are literally instant classic songs, and they deserve their respective records (PAK hours for Ditto and Weeks in Melon Top 10 for Hype Boy) that we'll probably not see challenged for a very long time even by NewJeans.

There is nothing I dislike about either of these 2 songs.

It's very telling that over a year later 200 K-Pop insiders still chose Hype Boy as their song of the year, and if it hadn't been Hype Boy, Ditto would've been chosen

Weird take either way. If NMIXX consistently releases songs this good, they wouldn't have their reputation for having great talent with bad music.

Dittos chrous is superb. However the verses are a bit weak and 'childish' if you know what I mean. An amazing song nevertheless

Ditto is also amplified by one of the best K-Pop music videos ever filmed. The story telling, almost hauntingly beautiful camera shots of NewJeans and the overall vibe of it being a nostalgic flashback to happier and simpler times from the perspective of the girl, now a woman, reflecting on her past.

Beautiful, beautiful music video. I actually think of certain scenes anytime I hear the song.

As for Hype Boy, it is the reason I became a NewJeans fan and become a major enemy of the 4th Gen Girl Group State

I love Attention too, but I have always been Team Hype Boy, even when Attention was hogging all the...attention.
