I watch some Japanese YouTubers and they love XG, so it seems they have quite good support in Japan. They have talent, maybe the best of all active kpop girl groups, but are not as strong in the visual department. They may be a dark horse in Japan in the future.
NiziU was more popular before but not as much now, which maybe is why they currently promoting in Korea.
