I Still Don't Know The Issue Of Why BANG PD Couldn't Let JIMIN Shine Along Side JUNGKOOK During This Solo Era

    I'm obviously ot7 of course, but this just popped up in my mind just now so I gotta say it


    I was just wondering, and I'm sure a lot of Jimin stans too are wondering why BigHit couldn't push Jimin as well and have him release some more Pop songs and do more collabs


    Like he possibly could've went #1 again or did like Jungkook, and got a Top 10 or Top 5 on the Hot 100, with another Pop single


    It's like Bang PD decided that they only have enough money and time to invest in 1 person in the group...the one he sees has the star factor and who could bring results


    Now that's definitely true that Jungkook is the star so to speak, in terms of solo music, but Jimin also with his results- could have had potential to do more and maybe even make some records for some new songs as well


    Cuz I could guarantee he would've charted high on the Hot 100 again


    I just don't understand the logic of not pushing another potential Pop star as well from the group, instead of just 1

    because jimin didn't want that probably. Their promotion schedule & strategy was chosen by respective members.

    As a namjoon stan, I can blame bighit for indigo promotion but I wont because I know it's what he himself decided for indigo. He didn't want a commercial style of promotion.

    Why do pjm thinks that jimin is a baby who can't speak for himself??

    Jimin was not willing to be used to promote other Hybe acts. JK did.


    I don't know what is JK's plans. He has a shot of winning a Grammy, which will lead to his military exemption since the outcry of all these dubious people winning the exemption during the Asian Games will return.


    It is possible he will sign a new contract, different from the other members, making him kind of a subordinate of Bang himself , like Gangta and BoA in SM or JinuSean in YG.

    Honestly personally Jimin doesn't have the same potential as Jungkook has in the U.S. I don't think his voice is as good as Jungkook (personal opinion) and I don't really see him being the guy that would collab with acts like Central Cee or Charlie Puth. Plus maybe he doesn't want to promote in the U.S.


    I don't think it's Bang PD's fault, the man is just smart and knows who will like who in the U.S for solos, and that member will always be Jungkook, he just has that voice for it.

    JK seems much more comfortable and confident promoting solo than Jimin does tbh. JK is the embodiment of YOLO. I'm sure that has a lot to do with the types of promotions and projects that JK and Jimin decided on for themselves.

    Yeah Jimin seemed too cautious about his vocals.


    Especially after that viral video that had like 45 million views on Twitter of him singing in encore for a music show.....


    Definitely mustve gotten back to the company and he heard about it
