If jennie go solo can she become taeyeon of 3rd generation

but the reality is that she's under YG, so although they have a (much older) history of given infrequent but extremely high quality content (until BLACKPINK's BORN PINK, that is 😂), she probably wouldn't be able to come back with as many consistent new comebacks and albums over the years like Taeyeon that'd she be able to maintain her chart performance great for a long time. She'd come out very sporadically with a couple of very popular songs that'd do great, then eventually YG would just stop giving her comebacks simply because they can't produce as high a volume of high quality content as SM as frequently as SM does, so no I don't think she could simply because of logistics.

but tbh Jennie wouldn't have ever become as famous as she is in other label, except maybe like JYP with ITZY and their girl crush concept, but nope tbh ITZY aren't nearly as famous as Jennie or BLACKPINK either, and SM isn't as good as girl crush as YG is (like Aespa are close, but tbh they don't fully pull it off as well as BP do), and if Jennie left YG tbh she'd probably not do as well just like all other artists from the OG Big 3 flopped w/o the Big 3, so yeah. Nope. Theoretically impossible just cuz YG can't produce enough content consistently enough over the years that she'd be able to last 8 years like Taeyeon can. 🤷‍♀️

Hard comparison since Taeyeon is more of a vocalist and OST singer type of musician where as Jennie is a performance, much more of an "idol" type like a Sunmi, Chungha type if you get what I mean.

While i think Jennie will be and already is lightyears more successful than Taeyeon due to exposure, i don’t think Jennie will ever be a Taeyeon in the same way Taeyeon going solo was in no way comparable to CL. Taeyeon could never rap like CL or Jennie and Jennie could never sing like Taeyeon and CL is perfect
