  • I personally think there should be a distinction between promoting gender equality and raising a child genderless. Promoting gender equality involves encouraging children to pursue their interests and goals without being limited by traditional gender roles and stereotypes, which is generally seen as positive. Raising a child completely genderless, on the other hand, appears to be an extreme approach that may not provide the child with a balanced understanding of their own identity and the society they live in.

They might get issues with social integration as well, as society often has established gender norms and expectations. A child raised genderless may find it challenging to navigate in social situations or fit in with peers who were raised the traditional way.

There is also the risk of overcorrection. In an attempt to avoid gender stereotypes, some parents might inadvertently push their child away from their natural inclinations or interests. This can be seen as imposing an ideology on the child rather than allowing them to be themselves.

  • If the children are happy I could care less

What makes a child happy and what is good for a child is two different things.

You don't let your child just eat candy, not take baths, and never go to school etc.

You fail as a parent if you set your child up for failure when you're not around anymore and they have to live in the real world and take care of themselves.

Also, most parents don't want their children to be bullied in school etc.

  • Teach your kids the world isn't a good place its filled with hate, genoicide etc and people that never know you will hate you for nothing regardless of being genderless and if they still want to go genderless support it

That's a good answer that I agree with. TBH, I was just kind of expecting you to write me off or attack me instead of giving a constructive reply.

  • i might be a little too traditional for some, but i think this will ultimately cause more harm than good.

This is one of the subjects that have some much buzz in some specific corners of the internet.

But I do wonder how many people in the real world actually care about that.

Is there really that many parents raising their kids genderless?

Did that do them any good, or bad?

That's what I keep thinking. The vast majority of people out there likely isn't even aware that gender and sex are no longer considered to be synonymous.
