This is one of my favorite things about the ARMY community. Every concert that I've been too, it feels I'm surrounded by old friends that I've known forever even if i don't know a single person there. I could go almost anywhere in the world and if there's an ARMY there, I could trust them to look out for me. The only comparable experience to this is when I was more active in Adam Lambert fandom years ago. Many of my longtime friends now were once total strangers with whom I shared a hotel or carpooled with to drive for hours between shows.
