What do you mean Riize still “didn’t debut”? These K-pop companies make no sense

  • They are promoting Memories which is a pre-release to their album Get A Guitar which will drop Sept 4th.

Get A Guitar is the title track with memories as the B-side. So they haven't officially debuted yet. It's just a pre-debut pre-release.

Pre-debut releases are fine, but if they are actively promoting it on music shows, how can they still not have debuted? A debut is an person's first public appearance/performance in a specific role (in this case as an artist with their artist name). Regardless of if Memories is a pre-release and to be a b-side on their album, they have already debuted with that song.

idk how it works, they aren't officially debuting until the release of their album, ask the company why they did it this way...i'm just telling you what i know from what they said on their official accounts.

  • Some terms just have different meanings in the K-Pop world.

The term comeback in K-Pop just means a release by a K-Pop act no matter if the previous release was 3 months ago or 3 years ago.

In the West a comeback is when someone popular returns to the industry with a hit after many years of being silent.
