I'm doing this because they are the most interesting songs in NJ's catalog, and I love them
#1 There's a precedent here with BTS' "Serendipity"
- it was used in an intro MV and served that function well (set the tone for the rest of the album) before being released as full-length song later
#2 Le Sserafim did something similar recently
- Le Sserafim featured the "I'm a mess mess mess" phrase on a live stage, months before it came out as "Eve, Psyche and Bluebeard's Wife". Worth noting that this was a very smart move as it later become successful
- Le Sserafim have done re-records from EPs on to later albums (2023 versions of Fearless songs)
#3 Hanni has basically already told us
- you can look this up, but she outright states that Get Up is an "appetiser" for future projects. What isn't clear to me is whether she's referring to Get Up the song or the album
#4 NewJeans already remix their songs officially
- Hurt has a 250 remix on their YT, and Zero has a JID remix
- Will a remix end up on streaming services? Who knows, they've been inconsistently doing this
I have a question for ARMY who remember that era well:
- When Intro: Serendipity dropped, was there ever any sign that the full length version would drop later? Was it possible that BigHit listened to ARMY asking for it?
