lol it's simple. Companies take almost all of the profits from rookie groups, while they generally have to share a lot more of the profits with senior idols esp of the stature of BTS. So if you're a company, would you rather have your rookie groups blow up or senior idols blow up?
This seems to be a pretty simple explanation for what's happening with TTH between Super Shy and Seven.
Army, Korea is going to forget about you.

I am a little irked about spotify but I wish success to both NJ and Bts members. I still wish Hybe would do more for his artists but I won't misuse my dissatisfaction. We are lucky that armys love for music seems unending. I hope the boys are better appreciated by the label and I wish when NJ gets older they won't get abandoned too. But I guess it's kpop, labels tend to get lazy with older acts.

She's pretty
Indeed--arguably better looking than a lot of girl group members.

Hybe really cares about giving the appearance that they're not totally dependent on BTS (spoiler: they are). It's better for them and investors if it looks like they won't instantly tank the moment BTS declines or the members enlist.
Now that NewJeans is on a roll, they're going to keep pushing and pushing them. Which is fair game as a music label, that's their job. I just don't think Hybe will ever produce a 2nd BTS in terms of success.
