DSP media to debut first girl group since APRIL scandal - 5 member GG will debut in 2nd half of 2023

Kara and April had a lot of amazing songs, so I have high expectations for the new gg

hope they will take better care of the girls' mental health and make sure all situations get resolved even if there are infighting at times

But it was mainly to say that I can understand why it attracts people who want to debut. They integrate an average agency, and that the acquisition of DSP can motivate some to join the agency.

Even if I personally advise them to flee.

I'm curious about anyone losing their youth in a non big 4 company. At least in big4 if you debut success is a guaranty, but in any other company debuting is just the first step, the bigger chance is that your income won't pay for your effort, actually, a lot of these idols doesn't even have a income

Don't forget that they forsake their education sk they end with part time jobs in a coffee shop or doing adult streaming

That's the hardest part for me. If they could have a good job when idol life doesn't work out then the risky wouldn't be the big, but their future is almost as "successful idol or nothing" in a context (of a non big 4) that the chance of becoming successful is lower than 5%.

Tbh, DSP is almost cute compared to other companies. There are some companies without money to support a comeback or two if the debut doesn't succeed, these CEOs are only playing with kids dreams.
