If Pledis NBG has James and JJ like the rumors say, then they're set for international popularity.

Also are we sure SMNBG isn't debuting this year? SungTaro can put up a big fight too

Well, as someone who kept up with Boys Planet and is a casual fan of SVT, I'm excited to see what both groups bring to the table. I'm not hopeful about the digitals from PledisNBG honestly, but I expect decent sales from them. Probably 100k like Xikers and BND have done already.

I'm expecting like 700k from ZB1 and decent charting on Melon Weekly. Something similar to Sugar Rush Ride's chart performance.

I think there will be more hype for Pledis NBG than Boy next door and they are likely to have more attention domestically too

But in all honesty I don't see any contender to ROTY other than Zerobaseone, Boys Planet was very big and Zerose fandom will unleash all their power right of the bat. Pledis NBG will have to pull a NewJeans to have a shot

So far I'm more confident in SMNBG. I lost completely my interest on them when they announced ex NCT members, but in other hand they will inherit thousands of NCTzens that will buy their album to support the old NCT members. I believe this group will try to please NCT 127 fandom.

127 has a problem, they took a bit too long to take off (2020 when they released Kick It), and the group is likely to go on hiatus in the next 2 years due to enlistment laws, so a big part of their fandom who joined late will be "orphan", which creates a perfect scenario for SM to try to cater those orphan 127 fans

there have been reports abt pledis nbg for years tbh idk if they'll even debut this year lol

but i think they'll do well

zb1 hype is insane tho

it'll be interesting to see some competition in the new 4th gen bg scene since the girls have been killing it for the past few years
