Its the smarter way of givng a group a better kickstart every since Twice. It doesn't even need to be a survival show, just something about how the group was formed and what they did up to debut.

NJs were just lucky they had great songs and perfect timing. BoyNextDoor would have benefited from some sort of pre-debut show.
