There was a movie called Leningrad Cowboys many years ago.
Long story short, a few unknown musicians from USSR end up in USA (the director and actors are from Finland) where they find no success. They somehow end up in Mexico where they become popular, so they came to be known as a Latin act which originated from USSR. A similar story exists - Norazo somehow became quite popular in Russia, although in Norazo's case it earned enough income from K-O-R-E-A-N events to focus itself exclusively in there. The Sugarman story of Sixto Rodriguez is also similar - a nobody in USA (he was born in Detroit) , his fame in South Africa led him to his rediscovery many years after his active days, although by that time he was too old to relocate there.
That is likely to be the course Fifty Fifty will probably take. Eventually its owner, who is now trying to raise about $65 million , saying he would debut a boy group and repeating what the owners of GFriend and Chungha did, will be cast aside and they will exclusively be run by Warner Music, becoming a Pop act for all practical purposes.
Warner signed BB Girls because its US tour was kinda successful, so it will probably operate in USA. A similar process will probably take place of FF; any connection they ever had in Korea will be wiped out, Siahn (its music producer) might be retained but increasingly will become irrelevant like PDogg, the two rappers will have to accept the position of chorus or shown the door, and the relevant duo will become a pop act
And the KPop industry will simply brand it as pop, apart from the KPop acts who can sell millions and fill stadiums and arenas. I cited the examples of Lorde and Billie Eilish. Lorde had the Billboard #1 on Hot 100 for 9 years and had her native New Zealand to back up but she is mostly irrelevant now, and Billie Eilish had beaten BTS for the best selling album in the world in 2019 (thanks to txt), but she is only doing arena tours now.
Psy, even in his height of fame and with his huge repertoire(although mostly in K-O-R-E-A-N), did not even get to have an arena tour in USA.
Fifty Fifty will be deemed a pop act, and will be treated as other pop stars and excluded from KPop. That is the easiest solution to deal with acts like FF which disturb an entire industry set up for almost 30 years - it is now too big and FF, which tries to shake the whole foundation of it, will simply be excluded from it.
