Overall, it has a good “feel”.
I question why the producer and/or arranger decided to start the song off soft then wedging the hard instrumental part in between before going back to soft. It would have felt better starting the song off with the hard instrumental then going soft into the verse.
There’s a part where a start/stop drum pattern was repeated twice before “going in” on the rock pocket. The repeat didn’t add anything more satisfying compared to just going into the rock pocket after the first start/stop.
