The closest is itzy with dalla dalla. Best performing 4th gen song. A big hit. 900M points on gaon. Has got 100M streaming certification. I wouldn't even call it a national hit. But closest to one.

why do ifans care so much about trying to determine which songs are national hits or not lol

I can not think anything else than Dalla Dalla. 4th gen have been pretty silent in Korea.

Dalla Dalla is the closest to a national hit. It wasnt THE national hit but more so than its achievements it apparently was playeed everywhere

nationally, not at all unfortunately. It was bigger in Japan weirdly, Crown holds some achievements similar to their japanese tracks.

Run Away wasn't doing too good but it grew well and I remember it being sung by small children in a park in a random video lol. Nothing akin to a national hit tho. TXT has a substantial fandom now in SK but it's mostly just that so for now they can't have national hits (soon i hope!!)
