Are dating rumors a thing of the past?

    There used to be A LOT of dating rumors during 3rd gen. And as expected, it brought A LOT of HATE to female idols. Yeri got a lot of hate. There was A LOT of rumors about who Irene is dating. Obviously EXO had A LOT. You notice a pattern here? SM groups tend to have A LOT of them. For 4 gen idols, it's almost unheard of in comparison. But there's a few here and there.

    Most of 4th gene are under 25 so they most likly either don't date cause their groups are very new and the company forbites it, they maybe do it extremly hidden and nobody will ever find out about it or there is something else


    I mean most groups who are under 3 years old and who's member are probably all just around 20 years old wouldn't want to risk being yelled at by some delusional fans who want to kick someone off just for being a human

    kpop fans don't care about 4th gen idols dating, they all still young ain't nobody paying attention to a high schoolers life, ain't nobody. Most recent dating scandals are still with 3rd gen, guess it's a good thing, but since 5th gen is starting, and idols in 4th gen age, guess we'll start to see dating rumors for them soon. who cares who is dating who, I ain't worried bout people love life. I ain't.

    Yes, I'm definitely noticing a pattern, and that pattern is you targeting certain idols (who've ironically never been in an actual dating scandal.) The only rumors that matter any are the ones that get confirmed, but if you want to hear baseless rumormongering, go open Twitter. That place has more ships than NATO.

    i think is because some male and female idols used to show appreceation for each other on stage. Some might be looking for trouble, and some were just playing fanboy/girl.


    we know those idols got masive hate. So 4 gen idols learnt to not even flinch on the presence of opposite sex idols. Just play statues.


    They only do react when a super Idols is present- cos they know that is "allowed" since that idols is "love by everyone". Still there are idols that are safe and other that are "Burnt you in hell by fans" aka the group that shall not be name , only by their fans

    I think for older idols, fans don't seem to care anymore as they are close to hitting 40 and probably getting a bit old to date or should've already settled down by now. Fourth gen idols are still quite young only early 20's and a little young to be full on dating imo or maybe they're not ready to. They are focussing on their career and rightly so. Imo, only obsessed fans would care whether an idol was dating or not. Frankly, it's not my business and I have more to worry about than an idol's love life.
