As for whether this girl will be the next Jennie.... anything is possible, but I wouldn't put my money on it. I think one of the reasons Jennie became the massive IT girl in Korea is because Korea hadn't really seen charm/visuals like Jennie before, but if Ahyeon is being pushed as "the new Jennie", then wouldn't the public just be bored?

We already have a Jennie, What's point another Jennie, just because she looks like Jennie. She will probably be very popular. At least Wonyoung's looks different and she's more unique face. If you wish for another it girl, I would like someone who looks more unique. I think Yeji, Yuna, Karina, Ryujin, Kazuha are definitely the most unique faces of this generation.

Off-topic but this girl being pushed as a vocal and all the YG artists fawning over her vocals during their yt series reveals the dire state of YG's vocals and vocal training. From these (likely tuned) videos along she is clearly screaming to hit those notes and very pitchy. Her voice shows potential to be a decent main vocal but if they keep applauding her for singing like that then I doubt she'll ever live up to that potential
Wut? I feel like these two literally contradict each other, how can she be pitchy if her voice has been autotuned
