What year do you consider the best year for Western songs?

To be honest, any year of the 80's as that's when I was teen and my era for western songs. It was a time when music was real music with bands who played instruments on stage and it was an era of crazy outfits and hairdos with synth new wave and innovative film clips as they were called then. Bring the back the 80's!

Aside from smaller artists, I don't listen to western music as much anymore because it isn't as good as it was from 2014 to 2017, maybe 2018. I loved the fusion of pop and EDM at the time. Just to name a few, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Zedd, and Selena Gomez all released music that I loved.
It just isn't the same anymore, so I either just listen to smaller artists or K-pop now.

What do you mean by "established"? I think you mean that they're much more popular now?

Yes, they're much more popular now, although they're not quite mainstream level just yet. By mainstream, I mean being played on the radio stations.

2007 - 2013 was BY FAR the absolutely worst time in Western music ever, it was so horrible to live through that that it enrages me seeing someone claim it as the best haha, with some exceptions from the Indie/Indie Pop side that entire time period in pop culture can just be gotten rid of if you ask me, today's music is SO, SO much better than back then.
Best should be something around either the late 60s or early 80s though, early 90s were very decent too
