F&F said on Tuesday it established a subsidiary F&F Entertainment and appointed Choi Jae-woo, a songwriter who produced original soundtracks of mega-hit South Korean dramas such as My Love from the Star and Secret Garden, as its CEO. Choi invested in various music content when he worked for Kakao Entertainment Corp., a unit of the country’s mobile platform giant Kakao Corp. for 12 years.

“We will actively utilize our know-how that created fandom with MLB fashion brand (for the entertainment business),” said an F&F official.

F&F acquired domestic entertainment companies and content producers last year. In March 2022, it took over Bound Entertainment, which produced Dr. Brain, Apple TV+’s first original series in Korean, and Victory Contents, which made a TV series Empress Ki.

South Korean clothing company F&F has acquired Italian sportswear brand Sergio Tacchini for US$63 million, aiming to take a share of the Asian country’s burgeoning tennis apparel and miscellaneous goods market.

The acquisition includes all shares of the US-based Sergio Tacchini Operations, which owns the Sergio Tacchini brand, and Sergio Tacchini IP Holdings, which holds the brand’s intellectual property. The deal is expected to close on July 20.

Sergio Tacchini will join F&F’s portfolio of brands, which includes MLB, Elle Sports and its own beauty label Banila Co.

Maybe I would watch it if it was a girls season but then since it's a guys season I was like nope.

And you know what, turned out I was right. And the voting was atrocious.

Did you know that if the votes were FULLY KOREAN VOTES, the lineup would be exactly the same? The ranks of the 9 guys would differ but it would still be the same 9 guys that debut the international votes played zero part in deciding who actually debuted.

Lucky I didn't waste my youth watching it but you know what I probably would still eat up whatever they release

But I also haven't voted so it's all good...

the ratio in MNet voting survival is always atrocious

like why would I need to vote for 7 days, day by day, and that wouldn't even match one vote send by Korean person?

All I see here is that this company has zero experience in making and promoting an idol groups, many companies have the money for an idol group yet they lack proper strategies to promote said group, and writing some Osts back in the day means nothing because probably this person has an outdated taste

I don't think we should just assume it will be shit

look at Billlie's CEO he did great job even tho he was a singer back in the day and not a kpop one to that

if they will pump money into group then they will be ok

also the show itself must have bigger scale than My Teenage Girl, and more "Soyeon's" in judge line up
