yes it is. Its okay to call them that if they are okay with it but I wouldn´t just go around calling every woman you meet a chick. I guess it depends where you are from. In the US, we don´t call women chicks since its been used to degrade women (except the rock/heavy metal community they haven´t seemed to catch up yet)
