2023 COMBO BATTLE : NEWJEANS vs IVE

Love OMG, Ditto is one of the GOAT kpop songs, Kitsch is ok, I Am is a very good song……NJ for the win!

New Jeans music is some of the best kpop music I’ve heard, and that’s just my opinion. IVE has some very good releases aswell, and I LOVED after like. However new jeans whole discography is never a miss, I never skip any songs. However I find myself often skipping some IVE songs. NEW JEANS FOR THE WIN.

I really liked Ditto and OMG.

I did not like Kitsch, but I like "I AM".

If we were voting for b-sides, IVE would be winning because this album is solid, but since we are only voting for the Ditto/OMG and Kitsch/I AM duos, then I have to pick New Jeans even though I like IVE more overall.

I like Kitsch and I AM isn't as bad as it could have been. OMG is alright but nothing special, Ditto is just boring imo.

I love New Jeans discography as a whole, and nothing changed for their new songs. I personally was not a huge fan of KITSCH, but I AM was a true bop. However I will not sit here and lie, I personally prefer OMG, and DITTO.

I agree, the music they present is very nostalgic and offers the right vibes, but we all have different tastes!

I'll go for NJ as combo.

But out of the four songs I love Kitsch the most.

It was already over in July last year when NJ decimated Ive, then further cemented when Ive delayed their comeback in January this year to avoid NJ.

There is no question that since December all the best CFs have gone to NJ, so advertisers already acknowledge what is organically much more popular.

Ive was on Running Man on January 29, 2023. That's the biggest show in Korea. Groups will coordinate show appearances with their releases.

They saw how strong and organically popular Ditto and OMG were and knew that they couldn't beat them without massive expenditure and pulled the plug.
