THE FACTS:

- HYBE will need to be represented on the BoD

- Potential names (by speculating finance bros and NOT hybe) include Bang PD and MHJ

- This is NOT the same as replacing Chris Lee as CEO of SM

- Align + Kakao will also nominate opposition to Hybe on the BoD

- The goal is to win over the rest of the shareholders and then actually take control of SM, only THEN can Chris Lee be removed (which probably can't happen this year - see below)

THE FUN:

Everybody keeps talking about "OH I DONT WANT THIS PERSON OR THAT PERSON TO RUN SM"

But you can't just whine and remove people you dont like, SOMEONE has to lead - power vacuums are deadly

SO who would you prefer as the CEO when this is all over?

Im agaisnt MHJ, she and Key were already head butting creatively before she left. Atleast when he head butted with LSM, LSM knew when to back off. MHJ doesnt know when to back off and will cause more tension for them.

In contrast bang pd always talk highly of SHINee and wanted to work with them. I think they can work with each other better on professional terms.

Bang PD dude keeps his mouth shut and does his work he hasn’t annoyed since the day I joined kpop so he can join the board. I actually have no idea what this guy does other than the fact that he keeps buying companies and made HYBE lol. That’s prolly for the bigger the less I know the less I hate.

i think his background is actually just straight up producing but he obvs has a knack for picking people etc etc

the fanwars would be truly titanic if he took over SM
