If you had to choose a promotional method for your faves, what would it be?

  • Youtube ads or Spotify playlisting or very "organic" virality on tiktok.

The most covert of techniques are always the best, so I would go with tiktok.

  • it depends:

    - if i'm confident about my song's quality and longevity : spotify

    - if my song has a catchy hook and easy to follow choreography: tiktok

    - if the selling point is visuals: youtube ads

Youtube ads move fast but I don't see them having the same long run impact or even legitimacy, this is why I do not know why Kpop companies are spending on it rather than on better playlisting.

  • TikTok dosn't mean shit for some people because when the first one pushing a song does not mention what song it is in the describtion than everyone else will also just use the same describtion and people will have a hard time to even figure who the real artist is. I noticed this in 2020 when a Japanese song went viral trought Stray Kids using it but nobody knew the artist and therefore the MV to the song has almost no views on Youtube

So that wouldn't be a option to choose

I also don't really know what would be the best way, because not even posting songs on other company-channels worked for them before (Warner deleted songs of artists who do not belong to them at one point so a lot MV went lost since non of those companies re-uploaded but my faves still have their MVs on YT since they posted them too at the same time and when they gave an upload to 1theK but didn't uploaded the MV to their own channel it resultet in almost no views since 1theK did nothing for the boys)

In the past they almost pushed themselfs after 2 member went viral on the web after apearing in a survival show when they performed the KPop-song that was "the shit" at that time but however it barly helped the group and it also wasn't much of a help when the rest of the group went to another survival show *Sigh*

And the 3 of them are also actors and/or used to work in other fields of the TV industry but that also helped shit for the group's popularity

Since their company has not much money I don't think the CEO would spend it in ads

And I bet cause they all are in the army right now that if they ever come back not much people will even care for their existence. I mean there are really groups who turn almost unpopular or unknown when they have no comeback in a long time and than come back
