seulgi infamously trained with sm for 7 years, jihyo with jyp for 10 years, before debuting so it’s not too uncommon ig. allegedly seulgi didn’t make the cut in f(x) and unlike other trainees who were in the same shoes as her and thus left sm due to being left off their then-new gg, she sticked it out through the years and ultimately was rewarded for her efforts

I just found out how old the members are... 17 - 21 years is their age range. That seems positively ancient in this day and age when the average age of debuted groups feels like 16 or 17.
