I know you’re joking but you do know chinese food and korean food are 2 separate things with different distinctions and the term “chinese food” strictly refers to chinese food only, not korean food like kimchi or bibimbap right? So why call the korean new year “chinese new year” when the same logic applies?

I’m confused what OP is even trying to say….are they saying Korean/East Asian food is Chinese food? Or do they think rest of the world calls kimchi etc as Chinese food?
