Ah then airplanes are usually quite cool I think just wrapping it in plastic wrap in a carry on should be good.

checked luggage is already very low in temperature.
I usually just have food in a plastic container with aluminum foil.
Tho check if the airport allows it. Not all do.

I think the x-ray scanner is melting it...
try putting it in your carry-on.
