EXO is coming back on 2023; what the future holds for the other boy group ?

Hmm a full group comeback I think they’ll sell a million. I don’t think they’re gonna chart digitally and I’ve made my peace with it. EXO stuck by Chen and that’s had consequences with their Korean fans nothing can be done about that. I think Baekhyun Stan’s will focus on Baekhyun’s upcoming solo comeback and I expect that to do better numbers in Korea than EXO.

Internationally if it’s a song along the lines of love shot or the eve you can see it do good numbers on Spotify. I expect them to be the best performing from SM easily if that’s the genre. If It’s a light comeback I don’t expect it to do that well on Spotify and if it’s like obsession it’ll prolly do ok numbers maybe something like NCT’s.

Yeah those are my over all expectations from the EXO cb.

Decent Spotify/YouTube. Decent sales. Negligent korean charting.

First Snow is still charting though and prolly outsold 99% BG’s this year. Maybe they’ll have a GP hit instead of relying on kfans lol. A girl can dream.

TLDR : they’re not gonna do something remarkably better than current BGs.

They'll do well. All their vocals remained, so it should sound good and the fandom is still big. They could have a grand comeback and do even better than most newer groups, but it depends on whether they'll get Suju level budget and concept or EXO debut level budget and concept.
