I don't remember it being problematic, and on rewatch, it's funny to me what people see as problematic and what they don't. 
It's a silly MV suggesting their music is appreciated across the world and across time. No one's up in arms over them "mocking" the British, but the same approach with a different outfit wasn't okay.

iirc, dunno if im mixing this up with chinese culture, but aren't there supposed to be pants? i saw somewhere that people who aren't wearing them are basically sexualizing it. but this was a while ago so idk
