very random question - Does your country still forces you to use masks?

    randomly had this thought after I watched a vlog of a woman going to the dentist who lives in a different country than me and this reminded me of as I was at the docotor 3 days ago. IDK but in Germany we get still forced to wear masks in the bus/train/tram/subway and when we go to the doctor. They lowedered the rules about masks many months ago so most people don't wear them in cafes, restaurants, supermarkets,... anymore but I heard from someone who has a child that her son still gets forced to wear them in school, no clue if thats all schools or if schools can decide on their own. I also heard from some people that they read that some other staates in Germany most likly lowered the laws by now so that you actually don't need them anymore but IDK since I didn't left my staate so yeah...


    What about your country? Do people still get forced to wear them or is it just a thing that differs from staate to staate or do people just not do it anymore?

    Not at all. They are only mandatory in hospitals. Though it has been discussed by the government to implement mandatory mask measures in public transports. I actually don't mind wearing them during winter because they keep the face warm.

    Interesting, in what region of Germany is this? A couple days ago I flew through Munich and not wearing mask was allowed, in fact the aircraft crew and airport staff were all mask-less.

    It's mandatory in any healthcare services and encouraged on public transport and if you are sick but other than that there are no requirements.


    Most people here are still wearing them anyway lol.

    In Spain you have to wear them in the public transport and at the hospital/doctor/pharmacy.

    I understand it is because doctors and pharmacists have contact with more sick people than the rest of professionals, and if they get sick who's going to do their work lol. My mom works at a hospital as a nurse, and they're already short of staff, imagine if half of them got Covid because people don't want to wear masks.
