Line distribution will never be fair. Idols get the lines they get because they fit the note range. One member didn’t “steal” lines from another. Do you really expect a sub-vocalist to be treated like a main vocal? Line distribution is the way it is to make the best final product. A rapper is not going to get many lines in a vocal heavy song, or vice versa.

honestly... idk it really depends on what people mean by "fair". Like, ofc the more vocally strong members will get most of the distribution, but then sometimes there are lines that the weaker vocals could totally handle, and maybe for the vocally strong members, you trim the fat. It's important that the members are given a way to shine vocals or not.
Completely equal however will be impossible.
Something that frustrates p1ece is that Soul tends to get little to no lines. It is speculated since he is one of the foreign members, he might not feel confident in his Korean, so it makes sense. He is also part of the dance line and can shine that way. I think FNC is aware of this disparity because occasionally they'll give Soul his own solo dance break, which allows him to get a spotlight despite having little to no lines at all. I think that kind of contentiousness can be nice.

I don’t think fair line distribution is just referring to all members getting equal parts. At least not got me.
An unfair line distribution will be if the main vocal gets less singing parts than all other members. That is the people who are good at their skills can’t showcase it I think that’s when it’s unfair distribution.

Of course but not that as bad as one get almost 40 sec and one barely get 5 sec.
