Their CEO was that sexist Ryan Jhun who sold his good songs to others and just gave them scraps. He also got them all to do terrible PS before the debut.
He didnt even fund or promote them properly for a year before disbanding them...............
they deserved so much more. I love their songs and performances. The fact that they couldn't reach their full potential really kills me.
I hope if the members wish to continue, that they can debut somewhere better.
It's been a great year for girl groups and also a bad year for girl groups. So many disbandments from really promising groups because they can't compete with the groups at the top. If you don't sells 30k+ albms by your first comeback you're not gonna make it. Which puts them through so much stress knowing it probably isn't going to work out. Pop was one of the best songs of the year too.
Their music wasn't even bad so idk why people are acting like if he had given them some IVE song that they would have blown up. All that would happen is IVE would have had a hit with a different song and no one would have heard bugAboo's song.
Like these songs aren't bad song and idk why people are acting like they're weird. They're on trend and their videos look good.
VAV's music is also on par with what he does for other companies, but they aren't smashing either.
it's tough being a kpop idol especially from a smaller lesser known group or company
although in regards to the music - hindsight is 20/20 and as I have said on AKP before - if a nugu/less known group has a great song but nobody (korean GP) listens to it, is it still a good song?
