Kamenashi Kazuya goes viral for his resemblance to BTS's Jungkook

In the past few days, Kamenashi Kazuya, a member of Jpop group KAT-TUN, has gone viral among Kpop fans. It's because they think that he looks like Jungkook in the pictures taken on set during the drama filming in 2016 lol

Like people even made Youtube videos about it lol

To be honest, the two are nothing alike. But the hair, thin lips, and smiles make them look a little alike I guess. He is in his mid thirties and is the front man of KAT-TUN a former 6 member but now 3 member boyband of Johnny's Ent. in Japan. He is also an really popular actor. The horror movie he starred in last year became the most watched horror movie of the last 10 years in Japan. He has been in the business for twenty years now.

Since I've been a fan of the group for many years, I think they don't look alike. Maybe they look like people who don't know Kame at all. But yes, he is the person in the pictures, and they actually don't really look alike. Kamenashi is about ten inches shorter than JK, his nose is shaped differently and his eyebrows are actually quite famous, he has beautifully shaped eyebrows that make girls even jealous lol

Yeah I saw that too, so I wanted to open this thread before the antis get involved. The person in the pictures is not Jungkook, but Kamenashi Kazuya.

Kat-tun has done successful world tours before including in the us market. They would have been where bts is today had jpop not squandered the chance at world dominance. We overhere in Korea saw this and took the jpop system that Johnny's made 60yrs ago and hit it out the park on improvements.

Unfortunately that is the case. Japanese companies have closed themselves to the outside world because they act with the motto Japan is enough for us. In a way, they're right because Japan is the second largest music market in the world. But lately they've started asking themselves why Kpop is reaching the world and we're not. The success of Kpop started the expansion of social media in Japanese companies. Even Johnnys has been slowly making its way into social media over the past two years. But they should have done this much earlier. KAT-TUN, as you said, toured in Asia, even gave concerts and participated in music shows in Korea, had a good audience in China, and was the group with the best chance of reaching the world. What a shame for this wasted potential.
