Lily Rose Depp denies being a nepo baby, model Vittoria calls out nepo babies for their privilege

"appreciate and know the place you came from" is a legitimately good advice
-
She is a Nepo Baby anyway idk why she try to deny it, like will smith son they're not where they're cause of their talent lmao.

Right, idk why she even spoke out about it in this way

She’s not the brightest

She’s not the brightest
A lot of nepo babies have been told their whole lives that their shit smells like roses and have been praised and rewarded for doing the bare minimum and have never had lives like the rest of us so I think she just doesn't understand
-
i am not against nepo babies but i dont like when people deny it

I have nothing against them or her and I don't deny that some have real talent and some are really sweet, but like Vittoria said know where you came from and appreciate it
-
Her first major role was literally Nepo Baby: The Movie.
I don't know who the second person is, but she's right. Being a nepo baby doesn't mean you aren't *good* at your selected field. In fact you can be extremely excellent! It just means you have a leg up on connections which might get you an audition over someone non-connected. There's really no point in denying it.

She is not denying that she's a nep baby she's denying the privilege that she has wish is worse

The fact that lily compared her self to doctors who have doctor parents is so laughable lol this kids still go through years of school and exams before the become doctors they don't get a job without proper education which in her case all the job she got was because her name is depp and her mom is Vanessa Paradie she neither has the talent of her dad or the voice of her mom yet she landed brand deals from prestigious brands and she was on runways with her 5ft5 the girl doesn't have anything to show to back her so called hard work

yeah, exactly

How do you compare being famous cause you've been in the spotlight since the moment you were born to putting in the time and effort going through med school, undergrad, grad and residency?!!!!
EXCUSE ME?! How frickin entitled are you?!!!!!

I mean, even kids of doctors who want to become doctors themselves have privilege but it's literally in no way comparable and they have to do so much hard work regardless, she came off as really self-unaware

Exactly!! I'm like if your dad's a doctor, that's not enough to let you into the surgery room. If your dad's a successful actor, then that is enough to get a role.

I totally caught that Lily's comment lacked some self-awareness, too! It's kind of funny how sometimes privilege can be overlooked. It's great that people like Vittoria are speaking up about it. These conversations can help everyone understand different perspectives. However, if you're interested in more info on this topic, click here. I also like to read about it.
