This subunit has Twice's main dancers and some of their best performers. And they are literally the mother of all j-lines considering they were the first jline in kpop. I saw this tweet that I really agreed with. That Misamo's debut will solidify Twice's status in Japan as treasured and respected artists. And I think they really hit the nail right on the head with that take. It's a sad fact that Japan is a pretty ethnocentric place, yet over the years Twice has managed to earn the respect of the general public regardless of nationality. That was seen in the record breaking success of Nayeon's solo. And with an all Japanese subunit from arguably the biggest kpop girl group in Japan, they will be able to do things that Twice as a multi-national girl group can't and help expand their audiences both as individuals and as a group. And this expansion could come back to benefiting Twice. Either way this debut will be legendary.

Yeah, I can see their debut being pretty legendary. They are the mothers of the Japanese line of K-pop. This will be iconic for sure lol. Everyone has been waiting for their unit debut. The potential they have is endless.
But what’s cute and also speaks on the girls impact in Japan is how the public and media officials view them and consider OT9 Japanese lol.
