Chaewon - She is a queen but HYBE aren’t promoting her the right way. She should get editorials but they are bringing her to a bunch of YT videos. Wonyoung has had little solo variety work but she is the it girl due to CFs. If they want to make her an it girl the currently.

Yunjin - While she is a visual, it seems she gets the least solo activities in the group. She has the opposite problem of Sakura. Lots of lines and screentime but low solo fanbase and opportunities. International fans love her but she has a low fandom. Won’t be surprised if Eunchae surpasses her soon.

Kazuha - The best chance but she is not Korean. She will get CFs but the broadcast commercials may be out of reach.

interesting that you think Eunchae has no chance because she's the best at variety and her variety sense suit the best korean audience, if she get pushed to variety shows, she has a big chance to become really popular with general public

The school record that stated it was a verbal conflict and an act of retaliation on Garam’s side after the other kid did horrible things first, not a physical instigation like it was led to believe by online rumors that claimed she must’ve beaten the other kid to near death based on absolutely no evidence? There are popular idols then there are it girls.

The biggest it girls in kpop are not just popular amongst the kpop crowd. They are huge even amongst the general public, against the likes of popular actresses, hallyu stars etc.

Kim Garam was nowhere near an it girl level, and the so-called "potential" are hugely overstated.

Sakura has her own fanbase, but her past controversies and just by nationality alone makes it difficult.

Kazuha is popular and has favourable visuals, but she hardly speaks a word of Korean and that will make it hard to push through the teenage Kpop crowd and into the mainstream.

Chaewon is their best bet, but what is her "thing" that will make her standout to the general public? There are charismatic idols in most top groups nowadays. Will it be an acting role somwhere down the line? A variety appearance? It hasnt happened in 3 years of Izone so will it happen now out of other Izone members' spotlight? I doubt it tbh.

Not very likely. It girls have influence outside of Kpop, so much that even the general public who aren't invested in Kpop know their names, their brands have commercial power.

No one in Lesserafim has that commercial power. Chaewon is not the CF endorser like Suzy or Yoona. And as other people have mentioned, Sakura and Kazuha are popular amongst some Kpop crowd, their foreign background is already a disadvantage. If Sakura was not allowed to win in Produce, do you really think she will be the It girl like a Suzy or Yoona

It's funny when people say that Chaewon doesn't have a chance. Know why she didn't blow up during IZ*One? Because she literally had almost 0 promotion in the whole 3 years (only one Masked Singer perf). And IZ*One itself wasn't popular enough with young female kpop fans, which is the demographic you need to target to have an "IT Girl". It's not a coincidence that Wonyoung pretty much blew up instantly RIGHT after leaving IZ*One lol. It's sad but true.

Yunjin, Chaewon, Kazuha........the possibility is there. If Hwasa could kinda be an IT Girl then that means you don't NEED to be a visual to be one. Le Sserafim just needs to get popular enough and one of the girls might have a chance.
