But she would need Cube's approval to enter GP999 in the first place. And since they agreed to it, I think they must have extended her contract in case she got selected for the debuting group. That's how I see it at least. Before she entered GP999, Cube had all the leverage; and they must have guessed that Yujin had a decent shot at getting selected.

It's not like she was doing anything else or they had any intention of keeping her without GP999, I don't see why they wouldnt let her
They send her and at least get some income from Kep1ar or withhold her and both parties sit not earning any money.
I didn't say they wouldn't let her since we know they did let her. What I said is they would have been foolish to let her enter GP999 and not get her to sign her contract extension in case she got selected in the debuting group. The group is supposed to last for 2.5 years and it's in Cube's interest to keep her signed for that time period.
