[BTS CONTENT] AKP ARMY, which year was the most impactful in regards to everything for BTS' career? 2016 vs 2017 vs 2018 vs 2020

It was a gradual process. Every year is very important to BTS climb to the top. But for their most impactful years I’ll give to the year with their biggest achievements yet, where everything they have built towards finally fell into place. 2020
For albums best period was the love yourself era, don’t remember which year to be exact since it spans from 2017-2018. Tear was the best IMO.
Instead of Title tracks I decided to choose their songs that were promoted as singles which were DNA and Mic Drop and Fake Love. Dynamite being supreme.
Bside will be black swan. Showed a whole new aesthetics to BTS music and caused a rift between their boyband image and true artistry

For me, i guess it'll always be 2016. The cheers and energy at Kcon 2016 when they took the stage is one of my favorite memories as a fan. It's when I knew for sure they made it
But I guess second runner up is 2018 because of all that happened that year, esp UN speech AND it was one of their best years musically too which can't be said for 2020 or 2017

the US industry's response to BTS over time:
2017: who they heck are these kids?
2018: oh they are still here? Thought they were just a fad. Seem pretty popular though
2019: BTS, huh? Hm....they are really making noise (still might fade so...)
2020: Wow, they killing the game (why weren't we engaged with this sooner?)
2021: BTS......let's pretend like we knew it all along and were always on board
For me, 2017-2018 was the biggest for them because of the sheer surprise that came along with every achievement. The response from both BTS and Army during this period was just "O_o" the whole time 😂 while 2019-2020 was more like, let's see what more can we do (ie. we had more confidence as a fandom)

I think 2020, everyone might disagree with me but this was one of their most successful albums of all time, plus they were nominated for grammy's, broke billboard charts went from 80 million veiws for 24 hours to 100 million views for 24 hours and e.c.t. they also collected a bunch of baby armys, I see alot of baby armys ask around and even in youtube videos some baby armys ask who each member is, and they are also still growing, so maybe 2021 might become their most impactful year.

probably 2018 for me, what an iconic year- despite so many kpop fans being clowns
