it will all change in 2026, pretty sure US will go bonkers when World Cup will be on your land
Twice will have another comeback this year?

I mean, it's still possible if Misamo debuts in Japan
They would just have to double up in preparing for comeback like Nayeon did (as she was preparing for her solo, she was working on Talk that Talk. For example, she was doing POP promotions while they were recording the music video for Talk that Talk)
And I don't know if you know but music video recordings are probably when the work the longest hours lol
I don't want them to debut only in Japan. Japanese promotions are never as good
Honestly waiting a bit for another solo or sub unit isn't the worst, preparing for both a group comeback and a solo seems like a lot (go Nayeon!), so I understand if they don't wanna do that, but with all rumors flying around I can't help but want it as soon as possible At least some official news

Probably, I don't know...because sports like baseball, basketball and American football are a lot more popular here.
I mean, I know that the World Cup is as big as the Olympics yet I don't know much about it because it's not as popular here and I never cared for it 😗

Yeah, but the Knetz are really xenophobic towards Misamo's debut. The public just won't enjoy it so if they were to debut in Korea, they probably wouldn't do to well as fer as charting or music show wins go. Their biggest supporters probably would be those K-ONCE. J-ONCE may not be the strongest buyers but they stream the heck out of Twice stuff. And I'd imagine J-fans being angrier if the only J-members were to debut in Korea. I'm sorry, though I agree that Korean promos are a lot better, especially for I-fans, I don't think Korea deserves them...😔
I just imagine all these negative comments about them being Japanese, making fun of their Korean not being perfect, complaining that the only thing that they would be able to do right is dance, as they're all complained to be weak singers and Momo as being a weak rapper. I don't know if you've seen Knetz reactions to Misamo possibly debuting but it's not been great so far. And I worry that it's just going to get worse if they do debut there.
And if they were going to do a Japanese comeback, it would give them more time because it's only a few performances as opposed to a full week of performances. It also will make sure that they don't have to try their hardest to be nominated for MAMA.
Yeah, I agree. If we have to wait, then we have to wait and I wouldn't be too upset about it. There is a lot of rumors surrounding it though, which makes me very hopeful
I guess we'll see!

I’ve been hoping they’d release a huge bop and make them eat their words. And there’s a lot of good songs that don’t demand strong vocals. I mean Attention is one of the biggest songs this year and it’s not exactly super difficult to sing.
If they do debut in Japan I at least hope they go all out with a lot of extra content (performance videos etc.) for international fans. Japanese comebacks often feel very low effort compared to korean ones. I wouldn’t want something half-done for their debut

Yeah, but in 2020, we had The Feels about two months after Alcohol Free. And Scientist was the next month.
So if this is true, my prediction is that Misamo is still going to happen in November but be a Japanese debut. And maybe, just maybe December will be an OT9 comeback which is very possible. It's just that the comeback in December won't qualify for 2022 MAMA. It would qualify for 2023 MAMA which would be harder since there will be a whole other line up of debuts and comebacks this next coming year.
And Twice always gets a month-long break in January and JYP groups don't usually do a lot during the first quarter of the year. It's actually more rare to have a comeback in the first quarter of the year than to have one at the end of the year
The Feels was a english single tho, we are speaking about 2 korean comeback, maybe they are speaking about a japanese or another english single, is way too soon for a korean comeback, even by Twice standards

Ah, I agree! If they do debut Korea, I hope that they're careful and that they'll have the best debut ever! I would just hate it if Knetz become so sour about it and refuse to support them and/or give them insults. So whatever they do, I'll support them in their endeavors!!
Yeah, I agree. They don't do much for J-release promotions...🥲 They rarely even post dance videos or comeback related content, when Korean comebacks are flowing with that. And I hate how behind the scenes are album exclusives...they're rarely posted on the channel 😭
And can we talk about how difficult it is to obtain a Japanese album? They're going to have to have a outlet for international fans because you have to go through high waters to get a Twice Japanese album if you're an international fan...

Yes, my issue with them debuting in Japan doesn't have anything to do with the language, I just want a korean comeback style promotion I want all the content and since I already know the live stages are gonna be amazing I need lots of performance videos. Music shows, dance practices and special performances videos and Japanese comebacks rarely get that

Somekind of winter/christmas song would not suprise me

Maybe a special music video like Merry & Happy...it's been a while since they had a holiday repackaged album!

You're right! I wish they did more with Japanese promotions, including music shows...typically Twice does only about 2 music show promotionals.
But I also want more guest appearance promotions. They don't do that much for Japanese ones either...
Japan music releases are just so different from the KPOP scene. There, music videos are apart of the teaser set and are released 2 weeks before the actual album drops. Instead of how in Korea, all teasers are typically leading up to the music video AND the album.
