I agree with most ppl here as long as the song is good. However, for KPOP groups, I appreciate their K-discography more because it's their native tongue. Having said that, I appreciate KPOP groups that takes the time to do original JPOP songs and not just Jpn version of their Korean songs. Especially to appreciate and give credit to the ones that go the extra length to work on their Jpn pronounciation and/or working with Jpn lyricts to develop really good lyrics. Since I undrstand Jpn, it irks me when some sing in Jpn and I can't understand what they are saying lol

I love Fancy Japanese version more than the Korean version.

Korean of course. Feels more natural as it's their mother language.

For me the original language the song was first released with. I'm so used to a song sounding a certain way, that when I hear a version in another language it sounds strange to me.

I usually prefer Korean, especially when its a Japanese version of a Korean song I already know it sounds a bit weird to me.
But I love original Japanese songs

I assume that if you heard a song in a different language, it would sound strange to you, even if it's by the same K-Pop singer/group.

For example Twice. I like the Japanese version of breakthrough a lot more than the Korean version, because that was first released. And vice versa I like the Korean version of likely way more than the Japanese one. Just cause I heard it in Korean first.
