  • Reminds me of some girl I met in one of my school's bathrooms this morning is a Twice fan.

I have a bag with Twice logos all over it from the 'III' World Tour merch collection that I use to carry all my school stuff in, and she saw it and was like "I like your bag!" And I was just like "thank you😊" just thinking it was something nice she ways saying because of the color or unique pattern or something. And then she was like "so you like Twice?" And I became 10x happier lmao. And of course, I said "yes!"

And she was like "who's your bias?" And I was like "Jihyo~" and she replied with "I like Nayeon!"

And in my brain, I was like "omggg she actually follows the group"

Because most of the KPOP fans I met in person either know Twice but don't stan them or are huge fans of them but are familiar with other groups/artists.

But I shouldn't have been surprised because when I see another kid with KPOP merch, I will literally be like "I like your shirt" (or whatever else they have on KPOP related because I can recognize most things about most artists). And I hope to start a conversation because no one who doesn't follow any K-groups won't know anything.

It's always really nice. I wish there was a KPOP/Kdrama club at my school because I've met so many students at my school who like them.

  • You can ask your school if you can start a club. Sometimes they’ll let you, especially if there’s interest for one.

  • That's so cute...

Maybe you can start the club yourself :cheer-bunny:

I know! And I want to, I'm just not the one to make a club...that's pretty much the only thing holding me back :peperain:

I lack the leadership and social skills :drinktears:

Heck, I literally have friends who enjoy KPOP or K-Drama and I'm too shy to ask them to help me on it ;(

I even have a lot of ideas for it it's just my mentality that's stopping me pretty much...

    But I guess I'll never know if I don't try. :pepe-shrug:

And also, every KPOP/K-Drama fan that I meet, just keeps me pushing more on the mindset of "okay, this would be the perfect high school club"...and I've met 4 this year!

  • Non sense...you leading Once Cult

  • Non sense...you leading Once Cult

LOL, we'll see how that goes...I just started so there's no telling what could happen tbh :pepe-shrug:

But I hope not to let anyone down :pepecute:

And also for me, at least, there's a HUGE difference between socializing online and socializing in real life...it's definitely less nerve-wracking to be talking to you behind a screen and not face-to-face than if we were talking face to face...

And I have undiagnosed social anxiety...like I believe I've been improving on that later but sometimes I just don't engage in a lot of conversation. I used to always be the one who would sit there awkwardly and quietly even if everyone else at the table was conversing with each other (unless it was some work assigned to us lol)...and I still prefer solo work unless it's something that would be near impossible on my own.

I'm sometimes kind of like how Tzuyu was in the NaTzu date...if the more talkative person out of the two of us didn't start a conversation, sometimes I would just sit there awkwardly lol. I've always been more of a listener tho even so when people just talk and talk and talk and won't let me say a word, I'll get a little annoyed. It's a matter of me getting comfortable with someone because I can talk and talk and talk when I'm with a close friend.

  • Ah, I get what you're saying. You prob don't have to be that social just to start a club....get yourself a good vice president of the club lol
