do u have ur wisdom teeth?

only one grew and i had it removed

I'm 23 and they still didn't erupt yet.

I had mine removed twice, so I'm twice as unwise than I used to be.

i have them. doesn't cause a lot of problem

They caused pain last year so they were removed.

The week afterward was a painful recovery

They removed 5 teeth from me even tho I at first came for 1 tooth

So ...

If wisdometeeths have no space to grow they can come out half or not at all and that was my case. On top they came out 1/3 - 1/2 and on the bottom nothing. That in the worst case can be bad since especially on the bottom the teeth will still grow even if they can't come out and since there is no space they will most likly try to push other teeth's root away to make space for themself. I had one tooth who was so missplaced after a while from that , so I couldn't really place my tongue where it belongs cause the tooth was allways distracting my tongue

My dentist said I had to go to a dental clinic and get it done there but than after getting an x-ray they said my non-exitent wisdomteeth would look not good and so the had to remove all of them too since apparently in my case they could harm me in the future when I will be 30-40 they said

It was horrible to think of the procedure cause a kids-show from as I was very little had overdramaticly sick behaving woman in a clip of how wisdomteeth work and showed her in extrem face-pain after the surgery. But in reality it went less painfull than expected, the only thing sucked was you are not allowed to have foods who contain milk and cafeine cause that can in the worst case re-open the wounds and you are also only restrickted to have foods that do not have a lot of chewing (no bread, no meat, no hard veggies or fruits,...) also straws are a bad idea cause of the suction. I had no idea of the straws and bought metal straws before since people said you won't be able to open your mouth for the first few days and than everyone was like "I don't fucking care if you can drink or not, just don't use a straw you idiot"

No luckily. I had them removed in hospital under a general in 1990 when I was 22. They were impacted and had to come out and I've never had any problems since.

They haven't grown in, but they're there
